Embr Community Guidelines
These guidelines exist to keep Embr a creative, safe, and productive space for players, creators, and developers collaborating on game ideas, mods, and full projects. By using Embr, you agree to follow these standards across ideas, comments, messages, teams, claims, and all platform activity.
1. Core Principles

Embr exists to spark new ideas and help them grow into real projects.
Respect
Treat all members of the Embr community with professionalism.
Integrity
Be honest about contributions, skills, and project expectations.
Safety
Harassment, discrimination, and harmful behavior are not tolerated.
Collaboration
This platform thrives when users build together and support one another.
2. Allowed Content & Behavior
You are welcome to:
- Post game ideas, mod concepts, project details, and feedback
- Participate in voting, discussions, and collaborative development
- Join or create teams
- Claim work within your available claim limits
- Share progress transparently
- Credit others accurately
- Use Embr's tools as intended (Boards, Tasks, Claims, Achievements, Notifications)
3. Prohibited Content & Behavior
Harassment & Abuse
- Personal attacks, insults, threats, or intimidation
- Targeted disruption or bullying
Discrimination
- Racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or hateful content
Sexual or Explicit Content
- Explicit material of any kind
- Sexualized depictions of minors (instant ban)
Illegal or Dangerous Behavior
- Promotion of illegal activities
- Encouraging or glorifying self-harm
- Sharing assets or files that violate a game's TOS
- Distributing copyrighted material without permission
Spam or Malicious Use
- Unsolicited promotion or ads
- Automated spam, botting, or vote manipulation
- Flooding comments, tasks, or messages
Dishonest Contribution
- Claiming more work than you can complete
- Taking credit for others' work
- Plagiarizing ideas
- Misrepresenting your skills
- Creating dummy teams to bypass claim limits
4. Idea & Project Conduct
Idea Submitters Should:
- Provide clear descriptions of mechanics or goals
- Avoid posting copyrighted content
- Be open to community feedback
- Update ideas as discussion evolves (optional but encouraged)
Developers / Claimants Should:
- Claim responsibly within limits
- Communicate timelines, progress, and blockers
- Deliver work that meets the agreed scope
- Use tasks, comments, and checklists for collaboration
5. Team Conduct
Teams are powerful when they are real collaborations.
Teams Must:
- Have at least one member besides the owner before making team claims
- Respect claim rules and limitations
- Coordinate transparently and respectfully
- Resolve internal disputes professionally
Teams May Not:
- Act as claim farms
- Misuse team claims to bypass personal limits
- Harass or pressure teammates
- Spam members or other teams
6. Communication Standards
Whether through comments, messages, or task updates:
Stay on-topic
Keep feedback constructive
Critique ideas, not people
Avoid sarcasm, trolling, or snark
Don't derail discussions
Don't pressure others for free labor or rushed work
7. Intellectual Property
- Do not upload ripped assets or illegal files
- Respect the terms and licenses of base games
- Credit all contributors accurately
- Respect ownership of ideas, code, and creative work
- Project history may remain for continuity even if users leave Embr (details in Terms)
8. Security & Privacy
- Do not share private information about yourself or others
- Do not attempt to hack, exploit, or reverse-engineer Embr
- Report vulnerabilities responsibly
- Keep private messages civil and respectful
9. Enforcement & Moderation
Embr staff may take action based on severity:
Warnings Temporary loss of claiming abilities Temporary suspension Removal of content or projects Permanent account ban
We aim to resolve issues fairly and transparently.
10. Reporting
You can report:
Harassment
Abuse or threats
Spam or fraudulent activity
Claim manipulation
Plagiarism or copyright violations
Security issues
Reports are confidential. Retaliation is also a violation.
11. Updates to These Guidelines
Embr will evolve, and so will these guidelines. Major updates will be announced in the Newswire .
